  • Why are more and more companies choosing Ruby on Rails? Because like us, they know that Rails allows for unparalleled flexibility and efficient deployment and testing procedures. This fullstack framework supports heavy traffic and enterprise-level web systems scaleable across many servers, but its functionality is not the only reason we make RoR our preferred method of development. With RoR, we can code everything from the ground up, so we can ensure that our custom solutions are as unique as our clients.

  • We approach PHP and object-oriented programming in a completely different way from many web development companies. When Rails is not requested or desired, we take advantage of PHP’s open-source platform similar to Ruby, and maximize its ability to execute small to medium-sized web applications. Our approach comes from knowing that PHP, a widely used scripting language suited to web development and HTML, is as friendly as we make it, and can be a good alternative for an enterprise-ready framework.

  • Although we remain staunch supporters of the value and functionality of Ruby on Rails, we recognize that some of our clients are not comfortable with open-source frameworks and prefer .NET, a Microsoft framework that can be used for development on the Windows operating system. We have the capability to deliver comparable high-quality design and functionality when programming in .NET, but as always, we ask our clients to explore all of their options before making a technology decision.

  • At the core of our clients’ web pages, XHTML and Dynamic HTML create the flexible foundation for delivering site content to visitors. We understand the importance of these fundamental building blocks to our customized web solutions and are careful not to overlook any detail. This helps us to ensure that our HTML is clean and concise, and pages are delivered uniformly across browsers and platforms.

  • For our clients, information is a crucial commodity. That’s why we create stable and functional databases that best serve and protect that information. Whether we are utilizing open-source solutions like MySQL and PostgreSQL, or proprietary solutions such as MS SQL Server, which is licensed for .NET, we provide the database solutions that best fit the framework or programming language, and deliver well planned solutions.

  • Asynchronous Javascript and XML, or AJAX, allows us to make the web seem a little more like the real world. By enabling small amounts of data to be exchanged with the server behind the scenes, this web development technique reduces the need for a web page to reload every time a user requests a change. Therefore, it allows the user’s interaction with the site to be more fluid and uninterrupted, and creates a seamless web experience.

  • We use XML, or Extensible Markup Language, to move your data, no matter the source or destination. This general-purpose markup language supports a wide variety of applications, and creates a skeletal construct for reliably exchanging complete, and often complex, data structures. In addition, we use XML to deliver live RSS feeds for blogs, news feeds or podcasts.

  • These days, the word “Flash” has come to refer to the authoring environment, the player or the application files—but a company that claims to do one isn’t necessarily fluent in all three. We build dynamic and engaging Flash animation from the ground up, covering all aspects from programming to implementation, and catered to a range of applications.
