Hoffman York and the Wisconsin Lottery approached Killswitch with an idea to create an online game that could be played by visitors to the organizations website. Killswitch decided to build a virtual pinball game completely in flash that would be as close to the real thing as a user would find in their local arcade. The challenge in creating this game, which on the surface may look simple, was creating it in a way that would simulate the actual physics of the ball bouncing of the flippers, bumpers and gates.
